This Privacy Policy explains how pbpublishingllc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Good Baby Bad Baby mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: email address and password (stored in hashed form), display name, username, and optional profile photo.
• Pet profiles: pet names, species, breeds, birthdays, adoption dates, and photos you add.
• User content: photos, videos, captions, and hashtags you post.
• Social interactions: votes, follows, blocks, reports, and similar activity.
• Support communications: messages you send when contacting us.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, approximate location (derived from IP), crash reports, and anonymized interaction events.
• Advertising identifiers: where permitted, a resettable advertising identifier used to deliver and measure ads.

Information from third-party sign-in

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address you authorize the provider to share. We do not receive your password.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the Service (creating accounts, displaying posts, running the feed, delivering leaderboards).
• To enforce our Terms and community standards (including reviewing reports and taking action on content that violates our rules).
• To communicate with you (transactional emails, support replies, optional product updates).
• To measure and improve the Service through analytics and crash reporting.
• To deliver and measure advertising, where applicable.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, property, and safety of users and the public.

3. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here.

Service providers that help us operate

• Supabase — database, authentication, and media storage.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Sentry — crash reporting tied to a user identifier.
• Google AdMob — advertising delivery and measurement.
• Apple and Google — app distribution platforms and, when you sign in with them, identity provision.
• Email delivery providers — transactional email for sign-up confirmations, password resets, and support.

Other users

Content you post publicly (display name, pet profiles, posts, votes, leaderboard standings, badges) is visible to other users of the Service and, where shared, to people outside the Service.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information to comply with legal process, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

4. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and update your account information in the app settings.
• Delete your account at any time from app settings. Deletion removes your profile, pets, posts, votes, follows, and associated media. Some records may be retained where required by law or for fraud prevention.
• Opt out of advertising personalization through your device’s system settings and through our in-app consent prompt (where required).
• Manage emails by unsubscribing from non-transactional messages.
• Data rights in certain jurisdictions (EEA / UK / California): you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information and to object to certain processing. Contact us at support@goodbabybadbaby.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

5. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@goodbabybadbaby.com and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and content data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems promptly. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period before being overwritten. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
